Global Production Systems Planning
Define supply chain networks and logistics relations with Version 6 Planning
DELMIA Global Production System Planning (SPG) is a breakthrough solution that provides a single data repository for all activities, from strategic planning to operational planning, in the enterprise's physical supply chain network. Users can optimize the performance of their global production system, ensure planning integrity from the supply chain network to individual machines on the shop floor, and increase manufacturing decision support accuracy at all levels of the enterprise.
SPG allows for the integration of isolated plants into a coordinated network. Having a single corporate repository promotes the institutionalizing and digitizing of all manufacturing capabilities across the physical supply chain. Users can look at what-if scenarios for dealing with new orders, new products, or supply chain disruptions. Coupled with this ability to evaluate alternatives, SPG provides a significant breakthrough in manufacturing decision support accuracy.
DELMIA SPG is fully supported by the collaborative life-cycle management capabilities of the Dassault Systèmes Version 6 environment.
- Optimize the performance of your global production system
- Ensure digital asset continuity between production and physical supply chain planning
- Increase your manufacturing decision support accuracy
Define a supply chain network and manage the lifecycle of the linksCreate sourcing links between manufacturing systems that show the flows of materials or products from suppliers to plants. Manage the maturity of the sourcing link (draft, work in process, or depreciated, for example) as part of the PLM management of the link.
Define transportation systems and logistic flowFor each sourcing link, users can define logistics information such as candidate transportation resources (railway, plane, truck, ship), distances, and transportation duration.
Navigate sourcing links using a sourcing tableNavigate on sourcing links and filter supply network data based on specific interest: plants served by a given supplier, or all suppliers to a specific plant, or all suppliers of a selected material or part, for example.
Manage Physical Supply Chain LifecycleSourcing links are instantiated as PLM 2.0 objects, providing the full lifecycle, configuration, and effectiveness management capabilities of the Version 6 collaborative environment.
