CATIA Structural Analysis meshes each 3D solid part and generates all connections automatically to ensure meshing consistency. Because of the generative capability, the assembly connections are updated automatically whenever there is a design change. Available properties include fastened, contact, slider, rigid and smooth, as well as welding connections properties such as spot, seam, and adhesive. These connection properties can be customized to create the most realistic and accurate finite element models.
