In late December 2000 - CSC and Dassault Systemes announced a strategic alliance built around Dassault Systemes` ENOVIA Portfolio of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. This agreement scope has then been expanded to cover all of the Dassault Systmes` PLM software solutions including CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA and SMARTEAM. Under the agreement, CSC and Dassault Systemes offer these solutions to companies that need to address the challenges of PLM and its promise of increased innovation and optimized product lifecycle costs. CSC provides its implementation and integration experience with ENOVIA to North American aerospace and defense customers.Since the establishment of the strategic alliance between CSC and Dassault Systemes began, CSC has been busily crafting a special facility in Norwich, Connecticut dedicated to world-class integration around Dassault Systemes` ENOVIA portfolio of PLM solutions. The PLM Competency Center offers services such as systems integration, business analysis, applications customization and development, system architecture and database management along with customer pilot programs and live, hands-on, functional demonstrations. To these benefits, CSC contributes implementation and integration expertise gained through their many projects with leading aerospace and defense manufacturers.
