Lightweight Online Application Enables Instantaneous 3D Global Collaboration

PARIS, Sept. 26, 2007 – Dassault Systèmes (DS) (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that its 3DLive online 3D collaboration application has been named a product of the year in Design News magazine’s 2007 Golden Mousetrap Award competition. Golden Mousetrap awards recognize engineering innovation and excellence in four categories of product design, including the hardware/software category in which 3DLive won. 3DLive, released in May 2007, features an intuitive “carousel” interface that displays 3D images of product designs for easy navigation, eliminating searching through text menus in multiple databases and applications.
