The ODB reconstruction tool is an add on feature of Abaqus, which can reconstruct large ODB files for better Viewer performance in animations. It provides users better interactive sessions in design review meetings as well as better insight into the response of the model. It very versatile, handy and easy use.

Jiandong Yu is a technical specialist in the DS Center for Simulation Excellence in Fremont, CA. Belonging to the engineering service group, Jiandong's job focuses on providing advanced technical support to Abaqus users, conducting high level training seminars, developing engineering methodology using finite element modeling for complex analysis models, mentoring users on best practices when using Abaqus software, etc.
Before joining the SIMULIA Team, Jiandong worked for Toyota Technical Center, where he did in depth research on glass fiber reinforced composites. Jiandong has a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University, he also holds a Masters Degree in Hydrodynamics and Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
