Attend this webinar to learn how you can perform topology optimization using ATOM. The powerful capabilities will be demonstrated on a laundry centrifuge example.
Attendees will be guided through the product development decision making process from the initial design, through finite element evaluation, optimization and re-design to the final, optimized shape. In a step-by-step analysis, we demonstrate how SIMULIA tools make it possible to smoothly integrate topology optimization into the design process.
Attendees will learn how the seamless integration of ATOM in Abaqus/CAE makes it possible to quickly perform an optimization run, which:

Steven Ribeiro-Ayeh, Senior Technical Sales Specialist, SIMULIA
Steven is a Senior Technical Sales Specialist in the German CSE in Aachen. He joined SIMULIA in 2006 when he got bored (pam-)crashing cars for a major German automotive manufacturer. Now he is a SIMULIA field engineer, tasked with providing front line customer support and training as well as various benchmark assignments. Stevens special interests are in the areas of modeling, process automation and structural optimization. Starting from the beta test series, he has been closely following the development of ATOM, contributing to ATOM lecture notes and presenting ATOM at SCC and German RUMs. Steven earned a M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. degree in Lightweight Structures from KTH, the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology.
