Aquila Hussain is a technical specialist and the training manager at SIMULIA West, the west coast branch office of Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp. She is a member of the engineering team which provides high level of technical support, training, mentoring and consulting services to Abaqus users across several industries – aerospace, defense, electronics, biomedical, life sciences, automotive, energy, consumer goods, heavy machinery, manufacturing and consulting.

Since joining the Abaqus team in 2006, Aquila has supported, mentored and provided advanced training to engineers, in the usage and application of Abaqus software. She is also actively involved in several FEA consulting projects for companies in various fields of engineering. Aquila holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Akron and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at the University of California at Berkeley.
