Thibault de Tersant has been executive vice president and CFO of Dassault Systèmes since joining the company in 1988. He was named Senior EVP in 2006.

Mr. de Tersant is responsible for finance, investor relations, legal affairs, sales business administration, information technology and internal controls for the company. He was elected to the Board of the company in 1993, and currently holds directorship of various subsidiaries.

Mr. de Tersant is also responsible for mergers and acquisitions, and has conducted more than 20 successful acquisitions totaling around $2 billions over the last ten years. He oversaw Dassault Systèmes’ successful initial public offering on the Paris and Nasdaq stock exchanges in 1996, as well as a secondary offering in 1997.

Prior to joining the company, Mr. de Tersant served as a finance executive in export financing at Dassault Aviation from 1983 until 1988.

Recipient of France’s prestigious "Chief Financial Officer of the Year" award in 2002, Thibault de Tersant is a graduate of the ESSEC Business School and of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris.
