Dominique Florack was appointed EVP of Dassault Systèmes in 1996. He is in charge of products and R&D.

Joining the company in 1986, Mr. Florack began his career at DS as Director of Product Data Management solutions. In 1990, he was named Director of Strategy and Research. In 1994, he became Vice President of CATIA Mechanical Solutions and Strategy.

Prior to joining DS, Mr. Florack was in charge of new technologies in the Advanced Technologies Department of French aerospace manufacturer Dassault Aviation.

Mr. Florack is a graduate of the Centre d'Etudes Supérieures de Techniques Industrielles and prepared a Ph.D. at the Ecole Centrale de Paris, specializing in mechanical design and artificial intelligence.
