fe-safe Supported Platforms & Release Compatibility

Release Specific Notes:

¹ Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Vista. Intel 32 bIt architecture only (1A32). Itanium versions (IA64) are not supported natively. 64-bit Windows XP and Vista platforms are supported on x86-64 AMD processors or Intel EM64T equivalents, with the fe-safe application running as a 32 bit application. Qualified by SIMULIA only on a subset of supported platforms.

² Redhat Enterprise Linux 4 and Novell SUSE 10 (aka OpenSUSE). x86-64 architecture, i.e. AMD Opteron and Athlon 64 processors, and Intel EM64T compliant processors. Qualified by SIMULIA only on a subset of supported platforms. Please note: Novell SUSE Linux requires package compat-expat1. SUSE 10.0 has known issues and should not be used.
