A mechanical engineering professor challenged his students to redesign the famous Da Vinci machines using the latest technology and stimulated their interest in engineering in the process!

Graduate students from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) used solutions from Dassault Systèmes’ Product Lifecycle Management –DELMIA V5 Digital Manufacturing and CATIA – to design a two-place helicopter and took first place honors.
