What do I need to start with my 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud?

How to create a DS Passport?
To become a 3DEXPERIENCE platform user, you will need a 3DPassport.
Creating an account is not sufficient to connect to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You must be invited on the environment by your administrator. You will be able to connect to the environment only after consuming the email invitation.
Here are the steps to create a Passport account:
- Connect to https://iam.3ds.com
- To start 3DPassport creation, under Create an Account, enter your email address and click on Register to access to the registration form
- Complete the form and click Submit. Note: We strongly invite you to put your Company Name in the dedicated field, even if the field is not compulsory.
- At the end of your 3DPassport creation, you will receive a notification to inform you on the success of this operation
If you have created your 3DPassport from the first mail received from the 3DEXPERIENCE platform you will be redirected to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform at this step. Otherwise we invite you to connect to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform now.
Note: Keep your login information safely aside. You will not receive any confirmation email after your 3DPassport creation and you will have to reuse this information for connection to:
- The 3DEXPERIENCE platform
- The cloud support communities
3DEXPERIENCE platform live status
I want to see the latest update during a platform outage
The cloud support team supports you during an outage. At any time, you can verify the status of your GEO platform directly on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform live status.
In case of an outage, you will see your platform status appear in red. To see more details about the platform incident, click on the details button beside the platform status.
If you want to get instant notification for a platform incident, you can choose to subscribe to your Cloud Environment Health RSS Feed. For this, select in the Cloud Health Console your environment between Customers, Academia & Partner Portal and click on the RSS icon to subscribe to its RSS feed and receive instant notification directly within your mailbox or within your RSS feed application.
Where can I see the status of my platform?
Platform status is displayed within the “Support” tab of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud community, in the right side column. This panel allows you to follow the platform status and planned maintenance that concerns all GEOs. You can access this panel here. The Platform Status panel is also displayed on the cloud Support page.

What are the steps needed to complete the online installation of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud applications?
To complete the online installation of the applications from 3DEXPERIENCE platform on cloud, you need to :
1. Download the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher
2. Install the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher
3. Click on the Native Application you want to use and follow the installation procedure proposed.

Can I perform 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher and Native Apps installation without Windows administrator privileges?
The installation procedures have to be performed as Windows System Administrator (or Windows System administrator privileges). Please ensure that you have administrator rights or that you contact your system administrator to be able to perform the necessary software installations.
